The Carlsbad Village Theatre is a unique Historic non-alcoholic multipurpose entertainment venue in the popular Carlsbad Village area.

The Carlsbad Village ambiance includes beach front motels, small retail shops, coffee houses, pubs, and a variety of indoor and outdoor dining opportunities. The Theatre is located directly across the street from the Coaster Train Station.  Free public parking is available at the Coaster Train  Station lot (400 spaces) after 6  PM on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday (non-commuter days/hours). 

The Theatre was built in 1927 for both live stage and cinema presentations.  A major renovation was completed in 2000 and subsequent upgrades have been made annually to support the expanded variety of contemporary uses shown above.  A more particular description of the Theatre premises and its amenities can be found on the specific web site pages herein.

The Theatre auditorium has 300 seats and is available on an Event Rental basis.  The specific event rental rate is commensurate with: the type use, date, day of the week, duration of the event, performance staffing and the performance amenities required for the Event.
